I joined CDS because I wanted a community where I could learn and work with some of Cornell's smartest people. I wanted to apply my knowledge to build things that I really care about. Outside of CDS, I enjoy playing club basketball, IM sports, and the occasional round of frolf.

Danny Yang

I joined CDS when the Data Visualization (now Insights) sub-team was started in Spring 2018, because it aligned with my background in data visualization. Last summer I worked at Facebook. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, reading, and (when I’m back home in California) archery.

Last summer, I interned at a company called LogMeIn within their video conferencing product department. I joined CDS after the parallel processing workshop piqued my interest, then transitioned to satisfying my more creative side by helping to start the Insights subteam. Last summer I worked as a research intern at IBM. Outside of school and CDS I like to sleep, swim if I'm feeling it, and complain about the lack of good tacos in Ithaca.

I joined CDS to combine my interests in computer science and economics by learning more about data science and the administrative side of a project team. This summer, I will be working as a technology intern for Procter and Gamble. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, binging TV shows, and playing board games with friends.

Kevin Luo

I’m broadly motivated by the idea of information and how it can be used responsibly in the future to help people. When I'm not dying from workload, I like losing to Nolan Gray in soccer, hiking, and watching The Office.
